'Folks want to live without a roommate': How a new BeltLine project reflects demand for apartments in a pandemic

Columbia Ventures is starting its new apartment development as the intown apartment sector recovers from the pandemic. Average rents have increased 16% over the past 12 months to reach $2,054 per month, or $2.24 per square foot, according to Atlanta real estate consulting firm Haddow & Co.
