The average size of a CID in metro Atlanta is 6.5 square miles with an average of 20% of CID-taxable land. Collectively, however, “CIDs represented more than $16 billion in assessed value in 2019, roughly equating to $41 billion in fair market value,” according to a new Georgia Tech/Lexicon Strategies study.
